12 x 120 Clock
What if we counted 12 dual hours ?
24 hour time is clear, but doesn’t exactly roll off the tongue.
The analogue clock is beautiful, but it can often be ambiguous when people use 12 hour time, whether they are referring to a.m. or p.m.
If we were to use a 12 dual hour clock (like they used to in China), of 120 minutes,
we could retain the analogue clock, without ambiguity and with finer sudivisions for 120 minutes.
Further we could have new numerals for this base 12 duodecimal system which could be used universally.
Beauty, clarity, simplicity – all in one go.
